KW films is dedicated to the moving image and the spoken as well as the written word. It was founded by Kathrin Wuscher.

KW films' first achievement was the production of the short film "Stand clear of the closing doors", which premiered in spring 2016. In August 2017 KW films proudly premiered their second short film "Terrors". With a bit of delay due to the pandemic, KW films premiered its third short film “Stoffwechsel” in 2022 - the first one in Swiss German.

Along with long-time collaborator, cinematographer and editor Philippe Jost and actor, writer and director Ilja Baumeier, KW films has embarked on a new journey. With the long-term goal of producing feature films, we have founded Moonbird Pictures in 2023. The first short film “Roman” as well as all our future productions will be featured at www.moonbird-pictures.ch.
